Kelly O’Connell’s wedding day holds a profound significance on various levels. It will forever be etched in her memory, not just as the most joyful occasion of her life when she tied the knot with her soulmate, but also as the day she bid farewell to her loyal companion, Charlie Bear, the aging black Labrador who had been an inseparable part of her life for 15 years. It felt instinctive for Charlie Bear to be present by her side, embodying the profound bond they shared.
During a significant occasion, it was Katie Lloyd, the sister of Kelly and also her maid of honour, who had the privilege of walking Charlie Bear down the aisle.
Goodbye, dear Charlie Bear. May you find eternal peace and know that you will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Our furry friend was diagnosed with a brain tumor back in April. Sadly, on the 9th of September, we will bid him farewell and let him rest.
